Why Americans are Fat

Behold, Friday night's dinner. I finished it off for lunch today.

It's a 12oz sirloin steak, breaded and battered and then deep fried.

Yes, FRIED STEAK.

Served with a mountain of chips and 'Texas toast,' which is garlic fried bread for those of us who've never ventured south of the Mason Dixie. Plus an ear of corn dripping in melted butter.

I'll just recap.

Steak. Deep fried. In batter.

But, by God, was it delicious!

You were at Chili's. I recognize the table. I miss Chilis, there aren't any in BC

You will be fat if you continue to eat that. Once in a while is good, but not routinely.

You really need to try some Carolina pit cooked pulled pork BBQ. Nothing like it on a bun topped with cole slaw and plenty of Tabasco. Wash down with copius amounts of brew.
