Dicky Bird

There's at least one member of the local wildlife who's willing to defy the squirrel mafia. This Robin Red-Breast has taken up proud occupation of the garage and won't fly off even when I climbed up the steps to take this picture.

I still say Ava would have made short work of him.

God's creatures are so beautiful, aren't they (wink wink)? Hi Roland, I responded to your comment. I hope we can agree to disagree and still be friends. I am a fan of your blog and never meant to offend you. I didn't take your comment as picking a fight either. I was actually very flattered that you took the time to read and respond.

A while ago you had a post discussing how you took issue with another blogger who made assumptions about all red haired British men. There are times I read your opinions about Christians when I feel like the red haired British man. I am a Christian, but also a pragmatist. I am educated and consider myself conservatively liberal. I consider my relationship with God to be very personal, therefore focusing on my own walk with Him. It's not my place to judge another person's relationship or lack of a relationship with Him.

I apologize if I offended you in any way. I just want you to see that not all Christians are idiots full of judgment and hatred. There are some of us who will stand up and say "I don't have all the answers." You don't have to believe the same way that I do. I respect your opinion. But please don't assume all of us are cut from the same cloth. We are not all the same.

If you are ever in AZ, come over and hang out with us. My husband has classic cars (67 RS/SS Camaro & 64 Chevelle). We can eat popcorn and watch Top Gear. The invitation is always open. Have a great day!

How brilliant is that picture!

I used to love watching our cat Scooby. He used to actually sit on the bird table in next door's garden looking up and waiting for the birds to fly down. As if the birds were actually that stupid. LOL.
