Having raised 4 sons (Now 31, 29, 22...and the caboose still at home at 15), I wish that I had taken more time to chronicle my own maturity as they grew. Ya' know...not only leave something for them to look back on, but also something to instruct them. Hell, a big part of it would be the things "they taught me."
I am not going to say "certainly," but there is a 99% chance that there will come a time that they will listen to nothing you say. That will pass. This really is a great idea, and I'd encourage you to be faithful to it.
It may seem like "forever" away. But, time passes so damn quickly. You won't have them for long. But, they will be able to look back on your videos and know that you gave/give a damn.
